The Laryngeal Mask Airway LMA (Laryngeal Mask Airway LMA) was invented by Dr. Archie Brain in 1983. It is a new type of artificial Airway sealed by the annular inflatable cover placed in the larynx. It consists of two parts: the Airway tube and the annular closure cover around the larynx. The ventilation type of LMA is between the mask and the endotracheal tube. Compared with the mask, LMA can liberate the anesthesiologist's hands, maintain the airway reliably, and stabilize the anesthetic effect. Compared with endotracheal intubation, LMA has the advantages of simple operation, less injury and less postoperative complications
